I’ll Always Walk Your Fish with You is a novel that challenges our commonly held beliefs, honors those who are not often included, and celebrates the beauty of individuals who are different from us.  Traveling from the Pacific Northwest to the islands of Hawai’i, this subtle, gentle, and sometimes playful, story about the spiritual connections that tie us together– regardless of religion or culture – takes us through one young woman’s journey of continual transformation as she confronts her own misunderstood stereotypes, redefines traditional views of relationships and family, and ultimately learns about the acceptance and ways of love.  It is a story for anyone who has ever tried to find their way in life, weaving together the common thread that runs through us all.

Protecting Mano -- Saving Endangered Sharks

Everyone can appreciate the fear of seeing a dorsal fin emerging from the dark waters below, especially if it's swimming nearby.  We all know the two-note soundtrack of Jaws -- "da-na, da-na".  Sadly, however, our false beliefs that these massive creatures are out to get us causes much undue harm and panic.  That in itself is unfortunate, but the more horrific damage comes from the brutal catching, butchering, and tossing of these awe-inspiring creatures for the mere enjoyment of a bowl of soup.

Sharks were part of the ocean millions of years before dinosaurs ever walked the earth, and therefore it is appalling, extremely sad, and shocking to know that the world's shark population is believed to have already declined by 90%

100 million sharks are slaughtered each year -- that's one shark for every 70 people on the plant... every year.  Not only is the cruelty appalling, but also the irreversible damage being done to the ecosystems -- both below and above the waves.

Several countries and organizations have taken a stand against the brutality and butchering of these marine beauties.  Awareness and education are the first steps.
